Honestly tho, I don't balance out my life and my fangirl side. Well it may sounds weird but what i meant is i don't have any particular method to balance out those two opposite sides.
As every k-popers out there may know, fangirling is our escapism from the real world. Fangirling is our way to heal from any stresses caused by our real life activities. That applies the same to me as well.
I've been a k-pop stan since 2016 and the first group i stan was iKON. Long story short, 4 years later at September 2020 while i was in thesis period, i met this rookie group called ATEEZ then i decided to stan them. Like, literally stan them, joining the fandom (yes, i'm an atiny hehe). But when i first stan them i was so afraid that i'll become overwhelmed by thesis and stanning a group simultaneously since as you may know, kpop groups these days has TONS of content like....... catching those all up in short period of time sounds impossible lmao.
For context, being a fangirl of a k-pop group means that get prepared for your life to be more fun than before and 'busy'. You'll get countless amount of contents (such as comebacks, MVs, interviews, vlogs, reality or variety shows, etc etc), group or members' update on social media, and if you are considering yourself to be a 'serious' fan, than you'll be faced with voting and streaming agendas (this is the level i'm in. yep i am one of votiny & streamtiny). I know, it seems like a lot of work but trust me, it doesn't. (it actually depends on you, on how you perceive it).
But in the end, it worked. How the hell it worked at the first place? I am a person that has a mindset of separating real life and entertainment. It feels like i already have this giant wall that divides both of them perfectly which resulting in the ability of balancing both real life and fangirling. While i am doing my priorities it really feels like my brain shut down the other side which is the entertainment side (in this case: fangirl), but when i done everything that i prioritized, i am back to full entertainment mode (as all human would do hehe).
In my case, ATEEZ has became one of my mood-booster and support system. Some of their songs successfully calm me down and the member themselves are such inspirations even though on the average, the members are basically have the same age as me. so whenever i feel stressed out i'll just gonna remember motivational quotes they said and listen to their songs.
I feel like i'm successfully derived the positive side then implement it to my life. I admit that some of my mindsets are changed and grew since i take the positive energy from this group.
In conclusion, please do take the positive side on everything. Once you managed to implement the positive side to your life, it feels so good like your life works as planned.
